ORLANDO, Fla. — MegaCon Orlando has returned to the Orange County Convention Center, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend the four-day event.

The event offers something every type of fan whether they love comics, sci-fi, horror or anime.
This year’s lineup includes new offerings such as a haunted house from A Petrified Forest on the exhibition floor as well as convention staples such as cosplay contests, shopping and dozens and dozens of panels.
“We have panels on basically everything,” said programming lead Ansley Newland. “You can come and learn how to be a comics professional from the executives from DC and Marvel. You can spend time with fellow fans just talking about your favorite fan theories or answering questions. You can, of course spend some time in our celebrity Q&As, hearing the stories behind-the-scenes from those amazing television and film series.”
Many celebrities also are making appearances at the event, including Rosario Dawson, James McAvoy, Sam Raimi, and Henry Winkler.
The event runs through Sunday.
